What you should have:


Strong skills in Linux/Unix/Windows administration.


Experience with scripting and automation (Python, Bash, etc.).


Hands-on knowledge of databases (Oracle, SQL, MongoDB).


Excellent analytical and troubleshooting skills.



Highly valued skills:


Familiarity with monitoring and observability tools (Prometheus, Grafana, Splunk, ELK).


Experience with middleware technologies (e.g., MQ, Solace).


Understanding of CI/CD pipelines and containerization (Kubernetes).

Náplň práce

What you will do

:
Take responsibility for the availability, performance, and scalability of critical systems through monitoring, capacity planning, and optimization.


Resolve and analyze outages and incidents, implement corrective actions, and prevent recurrence.


Develop tools and scripts to automate processes and reduce manual workload.


Monitor and fine-tune application and infrastructure performance, identify bottlenecks, and apply best practices.


Collaborate with development and operations teams to embed reliability, scalability, and performance practices across the software lifecycle.


Keep up to date with emerging technologies and contribute to a culture of knowledge-sharing and technical excellence.



Assistant Vice President Expectations:


Provide expert advice and input into decision-making, contribute to policy and process development.


Lead a team in delivering complex tasks, set objectives, and coach colleagues.


If not in a direct people leadership role, lead cross-team projects and coordinate collaborative initiatives.


Consult on complex technical and operational issues, and support the resolution of escalations.


Take an active role in risk management, controls, and governance.


Communicate complex information effectively and influence diverse stakeholders.
