For our client, a leading international research center in the field of laser technology, we are seeking suitable candidates for the position of Leader of the Safety Group.

Job description
* Management and coordination of all safety areas across the premises and operations
* Development and implementation of safety systems and internal regulations (occupational health and safety, laser and radiation safety, chemical and biological safety)
* Risk management, emergency response, incident investigation and evaluation
* Ensuring compliance with applicable legislation and internal requirements
* Cooperation with government authorities and external auditors
* Management of safety documentation and reporting in accordance with ISO standards
* Organization of training programs and active development of a strong safety culture
* Close cooperation with technical, scientific and operational teams

Requirements
* University degree in a technical field (engineering, applied physics, radiological physics or a related discipline)
* At least 5 years of experience in safety management within a technical or high-risk environment
* Knowledge of Czech legislation related to occupational health and safety, radiation, laser and chemical safety
* Proven ability to lead a team and coordinate activities
* Active command of English
* Knowledge of Czech is an advantage
* Experience with ISO 45001 / ISO 9001 standards is an advantage
* Professional qualification in radiation protection (SÚJB) is an advantage
* Experience in research or laboratory operations is an advantage
